Currently, the app automatically handles data backup via Android Auto Backup. This means that your data (including the encrypted database and settings) is periodically saved in your private Google Drive and restored automatically when you re-install the app or switch devices. But you can also backup your data manually at any time from the FAQs menu by tapping the "Backup & Export" button at the top right.

Is my data shared with anyone?

No. Ex-R follows a strict zero-data collection policy. All your purchase records and notes are stored locally on your device in an encrypted database.

How does the backup work?

The app uses Android's Auto Backup system to securely store your data in your own Google Drive. Only you can access this data through your Google Account.

What happens if I forget my PIN?

For your security, the PIN is encrypted. If forgotten, you may lose access to your data as the developer cannot "reset" it remotely (since we don't have your data).

1. Intellectual Property: All content included in the Ex-R app and this website, such as text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, and software, is the property of the Developer and is protected by Indian and international copyright and intellectual property laws.

2. License: We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

3. No Refund Policy: All purchases made within the app (such as "Remove Ads") are final. These purchases are non-refundable by any means, including monetary, service, or in-kind, regardless of the reason for cancellation or termination of use.

4. Governing Law: These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

1. Data Collection: We do NOT collect, store, or share any personal data, purchase history, or notes from our users. All data entry remains strictly on your local device.

2. Data Security: Your data is stored using SQLCipher (AES-256 encryption). We do not have access to your encryption keys or your PIN.

3. Children’s Privacy (COPPA): Since we collect no personal information, the app is safe for use by any age group. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

4. Third-Party Services: The app may use Google AdMob for advertisements and Google Play Services for backups. These services are governed by their respective privacy policies.
